Raised on Long Island, Dr.Khalid graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and received his specialty training at Winthrop University Hospital and Stony Brook University School of Medicine.

Dr.Khalid has extensive clinical experience in rare and challenging pulmonary and sleep disorders. He worked as Attending and Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University Medical Center and as Assistant Professor of Pulmonology in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
